Kate Mara the daughter of the Giants VP of Player Evaluation Chris Mara and granddaughter of the renowned Wellington Mara (Hall Of Fame Owner) is the Hollywood actress will be seen entirely in a different role in the movie “Shooter”. The movie is plotted around the protagonist who is a United States Marine Corps Scout sniper Bob Lee Swagger played by Mark Wahlberg, who is convicted for a murder.
She is also told to have worked on yet another hyped movie “Happy Thank You More Please” directed by Josh Radnor about which the actress said, ” ‘Happy Thank You More Please’ is a script I fell in love with and I have never shot a movie in New York City, so its been such an exciting thing to be home and working on a project i love.”
The actress had appeared as a noticeable character with Justine Timberlake in the recent movie “The Open Road” in June 2009.
Well the action packed movie “Shooter” is nothing like what she has done before. It forgets to treat the sensual lady as a helpless figure. She actually did some commendable work shooting on the glacier along with the guys this time. Speaking of the physically exhausting shoots she said, “I think Mark fell once when we were having a race. The boys act all tough, like they are not cold or anything, and then by the end of the day they are all freezing which is really funny. They kept making fun of me because I complained that I was going to fall over because I was so cold. They were like,’Well get her fuzzy boots’.”
